One minor issue I could see if you have a dog which jumps around a lot is that the belt could become wrapped around their legs but as ours is happy to move very little then this was not a problem, but for the price its probably worth giving it a go.

I bought this item as a last resource because, as I live in Portugal, for some reason all the other car seat belts were unable to be shipped to me. I put about 10 in the basket to see which ones would be available for shipping when I got through to the payment stage and this was the only one. And I'm glad it was. It's a great product, a really high quality item with real strength in the lead, not flimsy at all. I haven't tried it out as we haven't actually got the dog yet!!! but I'm sure when we do on the 15th December we'll love it. It clips securely into my car seat belts and releases as if it was made for the make of car. Great length and it'll come in really handy as no need to take it off and put on another lead when you want to let your dog out of the car. Definitely recommend it.
