Our Lab Retriever cross finds this bed very comfortable. The fact that it is just one 'piece' rather than having an outer bit and a cushion inside like many dog beds means it doesn't get all messed up with all his wriggling around which ultimately means it remains comfy and you don't need to keep putting the bed back together.
The only issue I had was the very strong chemical smell which came from the bed that could be smelt throughout the house within an hour. I assumed this was the waterproofing stuff but still it seemed ridiculously overpowering. The seller provided excellent customer service, responded to my query regarding this very quickly and even contacted the manufacturer to ensure this was safe for humans and animals. The advice came back that it was safe and most likely because it had been packaged up for some time. They advised putting it outside in the sun for a few days. I decided to put the cover in the washing machine and then leave it on the washing line...
