I bought this to replace a Manual locking Staywell Cat Flap, the reason it needed replacing was because we had been given a Bijon Frise who was able to use the cat flap at first but it was now getting a bit tight for him and he had snapped the door off. Now a Bijon is only a Small Dog and so naturally i thought "buy a small pet door", seemed logical to me, however when it arrived I found that it was seriously small, like anorexic toy chiwawa small.

All jokes a side the reality is that the door is actually narrower than the cat flap I was wanting to replace, its slightly taller, and of course it was a rectangle rather than a half oval shape. It isn't suitable for a Bijon and so I havent bothered to fit it, instead I have had to buy the medium pet door which has sorted out my issue.

For me a small door should fit dogs of a bjon, Westy etc were as this one is geared up for much smaller breeds, I would suggest that anyone considering buying a Staywell door,...
