Easy fit dog guard
After buying a similar dog guard from argos last year for only a few quid less
(which would'nt have been out of place on the Krypton factor in terms of putting it together) I was surprised that this one arrived on time & fully assembled & all I had to do was to easily extend it sideways & fit the legs (doddle fitted in less than 10 minutes) & this one dos'nt rattle like the argos one & is more sturdy. I like the idea of the sliding doors which saves you taking the guard out if you want to put anything long like a broom in the car. Good product,well pleased.
Pretty impressed
I bought this item for my Landrover Freelander 1 52 reg and did so hesitatntly as was unsure if would fit. Official landorver products were 3 times the price and more in some instances therefore I thought I would buy this option based on previous reviews in the hope it would fit.
It fits perfectly and is very sturdy. We have a 15kg cocker spaniel who is very lively and there is no way she is getting past this item once fitted sturdily. I would suggest if fits your car properly then heavier dogs would also struggle.
Design is simple and very effective and looks very neat and aesthetically pleasing too. The door option which allows access to the boot from the car and vice versa is a nice feature however not one we would really use and unfortunately the design drawback is that it creates loose items on the construction therefore rattles a lot when driving. If you drive a lot and don't like these annoyances then I imagine strategically placed tape or similar...
