Our Jack-a-Bea Loves Her Squeaky Cow
I must say our little Jackabea(gle) 'Charlie' loves this toy. We received it as a present when she was about 9 weeks old and she took to it right away and it's still her favorite play item now that's she's almost 4 months with lots of other toys to choose from.
We've played with the toy outdoors and indoors. I've dragged it along the ground and thrown it up in the air and she races around trying to grab the tail or leaps (she's part Russell afterall) high off the ground to grab it and bring it back to me.
I believe there's two aspects of the toy that she enjoys best. The first is the nice mouthy feel of the fur. It's a good thickness for a smaller dog. AND the squeakies. Once she found out that she could make the old cow squeal she was hooked, and I see her searching out the toy during the day to bring it to some good dog-place where she can chew and chew and enjoy the squeaks.
A bit dirty now but showing no other signs of wear. The cow is over a foot...
