These toys are fantastic. My Springer loves them with or without filling. He invariably carries one in his mouth and spends ages chewing.
He has had two operations recently to remove bits of inferior rubber toys from his stomach - one of which was supposed to be good for his teeth!!
Kong toys are the only ones that I trust him with for chewing and playing. The black ones are the safest. I had to take a red one off him the other day as it was eventually beginning to show wear and little bits were coming away!!

Could not be better in any sense
This is a fantastic toy. My dog chews through any toy he gets given. The longest a toy has lasted is 2 weeks. This toy is now well over a year old and it's showing no signs of stress. He lays in his basket chewing it, he plays fetch with it, he goes to sleep with it, and he happily bounces it around the living room on the laminate.
We have tried filling this with the Kong paste, but found it worked better with mini biscuits. It is a marvelous toy. Only one small thing, if it bounces and hits you in the leg you will get a nice bruise, but we've learnt to avoid it. :)
For the champion chewer our dog is, we seriously expected it to go the way of the others and end up in the bin. This has proved us wrong, and it was well worth the money.
