Strong, waterproof bed
I bought this to use for my collie and it is well made and wipeable and washable. It isn't however, resistant to being chewed by a puppy. Luckily I have been able to mend it. I would prefer it not to have had a material in the middle that holds the hairs, but I tend to put profleece pieces on all my dog beds, so it isn't a problem. At the price I paid, I think it was a good buy.
Good Purchase
Having a 6 yo Labrador who loves to dig over her bed and makes a total wreck of anything I provide for her, including vetbed, beanbags and mats/pads all which in turn have been enclosed in easily washable covers. Due to her heavy moulting all the time fleece fabric is not an option as I dare not put so much dog hair in the washing machine so this seemed like a good idea. Washable with a removable cover and a waterproof underside it seemed practicle, tough and durable. I was not disappointed. Placed inside her existing cover she was a bit confused at first because it was firmer than what she was used to previously,but she has bullied it into submission and is now happy with it and so am I. It is thick, warm and stays flat for her to lay on used inside her moulded plastic bed whereas she used to dig everything up then sit looking at the mess waiting for me to put it neat again. Spoilt? Noooo. Well really!
