The best dog lead ever for taking your dog a walk and feeling in control. You can take your dog a walk comfortably knowing you can stop the dog jumping, lunging or pulling. The dog walks at my side where before the dog was in front virtually dragging me behind her. It is better for the dog and better for the owner, safe and easy. I would recommend this lead to anyone experiencing problems taking an excitable dog for a walk. I used to dread taking my dog out where it had to be on a lead because it pulled every step of the way which was very uncomfortable. If we came across youngsters playing, a cyclist or another dog and owner my dog would pull, lunge and jump at them. Mostly because it wanted to play but being a medium sized dog for some was a wee bit scary and could knock over a child by being friendly! With this lead this is almost stopped and mostly I am in control, only time it doesn't work is when someone decides to go close and pet the dog and she recipricates with...
Simple but effective.
I have two mature Flatcoated Retrievers, they are fine on the lead on our usual walks, but anywhere new or when they get the scent of water they pull like steam engines. This is brilliant - easy to use and versatile. My older dog took to it straight away, the younger one did try to push it off her nose! I found that by walking briskly, with lots of encouragement and praise when she left it alone worked wonders.
It is simple to use, and when your dog is tired (and hopefully stops pulling!), you can just slip it over their head.
Definitely worth a try. One size fits all unlike other dog head collars.
Good lead, worth buying
Not sure its the best lead, I still find the gentle leader works better to stop him pulling but overall a great lead as you can switch between the halti and slip collar. Definitely worth owning if you have a dog who pulls.

Dogs & Co famous Figure of 8 Dog Lead is back! Made from strong, nylon with chrome fittings. The lead is padded for both the walkers and dogs comfort. The overall length and width of the dog lead is L: 1.5m / 59" W: 2cm / 7/8".
The dog lead has three different modes, all are easy to adjust and use.
Fixed collar and lead (fig 1) - For use when the dog is calm and well behaved, and no extra correction is needed.
Slip Collar (fig 2) - if the dog is pulling, the slip lead mode will help to 'check' the dog.
Halter (fig 3) - if out with a lot of 'distractions' and the dog is causing the walker stress. When the dog pulls, the lead will tighten, pulling the dogs head downwards (as shown) into a naturally submissive position.
By simply movement of the lead through the '8' shaped buckle alters the mode of use.

Fig 1: In the fixed collar and lead mode.
The buckle prevents the 'collar' from tightening, the stopper, prevents the 'collar' from opening.
Simply pull the lead through the buckle to adjust the size.
Fig 2: In the slip lead mode.
Move the buckle around to the end with the chrome ring, the lead is now a slip lead. The Move the stopper down prevent the lead from opening too wide.
Fig 3: In the Halter mode.
Pull a length of lead through the actual buckle itself to form two loops. Place the lead over the dogs head - the stopper positioned at the back of the head. The other loop is placed over the dogs nose, pull the lead to a comfortable position for the dog. Move the stopper down to prevent the loop from opening.
A "Guide to use" is included with every purchase.
