runs large but great design
I like the design, it's easier on and off than those rubbish Pawz condom looking things (we've tried these). But I initially ordered the medium as I have a Bichon Frise (and a large Bichon for the breed, at that) and there's no way she's smaller than a west highland terrier which the package even says these shoes should fit and they were too big! I'm having to return them for a small.
Perfect boots
After reading other reviews, I bought the XXL size for a Golden Retriever (female, medium size). It was a mistake, the XXL size was really huge (total diameter = 8 cm) so I had to order the XL size. Perfect fit, I recommend them.
Wish they were larger
These boots were late in arriving but when they did they were actually very small even though we purchased the XL size so unfortunately they wont fit our dog which is a Weirmarner. If these had fit they would have been perfect for him as he is losing the use of his back legs and scrapes this paws along the floor when walking so needs to wear boots on outdoor walks. These boots would have been wonderful as the boots supplied by our vet wear out in a week and these are so strong they would have lasted for ages. I would definately recommend them but only if you have a small dog.
