Great idea but not very strong (two broke!)
Bought this as I want to start canix with my dog but the proper stuff is expensive, it was great for that and I use it every day to go jogging, easy to put on etc. Would mention that not so good if your on roads alot as it is all bungee down to the dog apart from a small handle, as my dog is small the only way I can hold this is to bend down. This means I dont feel I have total control to keep him tight on busy roads but otherwise a great product and highly recommended.
Have had to edit this review as unfortunatly the first one broke (the bungee inside snapped) after only a couple of weeks, my dog is very small (less than 12kg) so I was quite suprised that it broke so easily, they were very good about it when I emailed though and sent me a sencond lead almost imeditly, unfortunalty this one only lasted 2 days and also broke, I have kept it and the ability to clip it to you is still very usefull if you need to use your hands but its not worth much without the bungee...

So So Disappointed
I recently purchased one of these Shock Absorber Hands Free Dog Leads I have used it once and already it has lost all of it's "bungee" and is therefore completely useless. I appreciate that it wasn't very expensive but it just didn't work as I thought it should (I would have liked to use it more than once for a start)and the dog that I took out on it on the only occassion it has been used weighs less than 20kg a very small Border Collie - I have contacted the seller to tell them also how disappointed that I am but as yet have not even had a reply. In short I really wouldn't bother it was a complete waste of time and money!
