Two of my cats are officially classified as senior and after reviewing their blood tests my vet recommended we gave them 'senior' foods. They refused to eat both the wet and dry foods recommended by the vet but have happily accepted Senior Iams (mixed in with Iams hairball formula) in their diet.

I gather that older cats require fewer calories, higher quality protein and more Vitamin E.
