Worked fine for me - Very Impressed
I have also found that when gently used it is fine, we used it on our puppy as well and with the first brush bought we pressed a bit too hard because it is padded, he didnt feel any pain or anything and the pins just sink into the cushion, when we bought the same one for a second time the product worked a treat and no pins sinking into the cushioned bit either. Useless - Pins Sink
Like the previous reviewer ALL the pins have sunk on my Brush and I've probably only used it on my dog about 2 or 3 times. A total waste of money, it's useless and needs to be thrown away. Save your money and buy a different brand. Extremely disappointed.
A pin pad - but NOT a long one
Unlike some reviewers, I have had no problems with pins sinking or falling out of the brush.
However, the pins are no longer than my standard pin pad (about 3/4" or 18 mm). I was expecting the pins to be longer than an inch to merit the description "long". The pins are too short for my double-coated Japanese Spitz.
Also bear in mind that the pins do not have rounded-off "beads" on the ends unlike most pin pads, so this could irritate pets with a delicate skin.
