We have a reasonably small, male dog and this metal bowl(s) is fantastic; a silver bowl fits inside the patterned bowl. The design is great for a male dog. We had already bought the same bowl when he was a puppy and this is a multiple bowl that we have bought to take with us when going out for the day. It is easy to clean having the two bowl system, looks great and is non breakable. We think it is excellent and even better for the price; customer service and delivery was also brilliant. One caution to think about is that it holds a full days food for our size dog; I imagine the larger the dog the greater the quantity of food they have; It would not hold much more than my size dog requires :)

I had read previous reviews about how small these bowls were but I have to say for any small dog up to the size of a Springer Spaniel - these bowls are ideal. Fun design with an easily removed inner bowl that can be easily cleaned.
