They are very good quality, unscrew completely into 2 halves for filling and washing, and can be screwed up to leave the right gap to let your size of treat or kibble out, and to allow for your dog's progress with the technique.
I am using a relatively large kibble, and have no problem adjusting the opening to suit.
I haven't found that they come unscrewed in use (as the other reviewer seems to be saying), but then I do not leave my dogs unattended with them, removing them once they are empty.
As a device to make meal times more interesting and slow down the eating rate of my greedy one, I am very happy with their success. The part meal I put in takes about 3 minutes as opposed to 30...
