What can I say.... brilliant! I bought the Andis AGC Super 2-Speed clippers to trim my English Cocker Spaniel who has thick & curly hair. My old Wahl clippers snagged all the time & the blades became very hot after a few minutes of clipping - they are now in the bin! The Andis clipper worked superbly on her, like a knife through butter. I use Andis Cool Care Plus spray to cool the blade whilst trimming. The clippers are a bit pricey, but believe me, they are well worth the investment. I used to take her to the groomers every 6 weeks, but after calculating the costs, found that in the long run, I will definitely get my money back from what I will save on the costs of grooming. Compared to the Wahl, the Andis clipper is much quieter and very easy to change the blades. Highly recommended and well worth the money - just ask my dog!!!

I have never used clippers before so I was a bit cautious when I tried them the first time - a dummy run. I used them the other night properly and I have one lovely smooth and tangle free Lhasa Apso! I think they are a must for people with dogs with a lot of hair.

For some reason Amazon was showing two prices for these but both were sold and dispatched by Amazon.co.uk. Needless to say I ordered the cheaper set despite the long lead time of 1 to 2 months. However, they arrived within ONE week!! Saved money, I'm happy. Maybe not the clearest pictures on the instructions but that is a minor point.
They are efficient, quiet and sharp. I had also ordered a 5FC blade and after changing to that one, I had clipped our dog within an hour. Decent quantity of oil was also supplied. I can't recommend them more.
