Not what I expected.
I own the matching Ancol Timberwolf collar in Sable and I thought it would be idea to get a matching set, so I purchased this. When I first saw it I was extremely disappointed on how thin it was. I was expecting a big chunky leather lead but instead it's very thin and looks like it could break easily. Secondly I don't like how the material is quite stiff and as I have it loosley in my hand it all bundles up stiffly and looks really weird. Although I didn't send this item back it will come in useful for vet visits or dog shows as visually it looks very smart. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing this lead but I would 100% recommend the matching Ancol Timberwolf collar.
A very good buy!
Bought the collar that matches this lead and both products are excellent. My shih-tzu has a habit of biting the lead when its been put on for his walk, but its stayed as good as new. Very strong lead and lovely colour. Would buy this brand again.
Can't beat leather
For comfort and grip you cannot beat these ancol leather leads. My first one is 12 years old and still fine, they soften well, but never feel weak.
