Replacement has proved excellent
Received this harness immediately prior to going away for a week, delivery first class and first look seemed a really good product, good fit, fleece covering looked adequate etc, happy dog hence 1 star. On the second day away one of the clips wouldn't open, then 2 days later the second clip failed. This made life very difficult so reverted to the dogs old harness (luckily we took it with us) which we have had for 3 years, and other than some fraying is still working perfectly (not a Trixi product). I have opted for a replacement harness as surely they all cant be as bad as this one ???????
Follow Up: Now some 5 Months since this product was replaced without any hassle by Amazon. Product has been excellent, no hint of problems which affected last harness, the harness is still soft even after numerous swims etc. I would now definitely recommend>
Wrong sizing.
I can't say how good or bad this product is cuz I could never use it on my dog. Despite using the sizing guide and measuring him carefully the harness was too big when it came and could not be used. I had to return it. Otherwise it did look ŵell made and comfy to wear.
Wasnt great and chafed our dog
We bought this for our Staf and although it is a good product and feels of good quality, it rubbed between the legs, so we tried the Mikki Anti Pull harness instead, the tubing worked great and stopped any chafing or soreness and we also liked the reflective part in the collar for the winter time when we go out for a walk at night. He also seemed a lot more comfortable wearing it for a longer period of time too.
