After trying a 5 feed auto feeder from a National pet store I returned it as not as advertised and also that it was too flimsy. After much looking and reading I bought the Trixie Le Bistro and have been very pleased with it. The timings are accurate, the portions can be adjusted from 1/4 to 2 cups, although in practice the 1/4 cup twice a day seems about right for our cat. Our cat hasn't wrecked or abused it, she has broken the original cat door we had, which had to be replaced. It is reliable as we were away for a few days and had a neighbour drop in to check all was OK which it was. The only grumble that I have is that there is no way of contacting the manufacturer either in the instructions or on the box. The packaging was excellant, the instructions fairly easy to follow although on each 4 different langauge instruction sheets the 4 pictorial diagrams are accompanied by German text, doesn't anyone check? The written instructions however are quite adequate so it doesn't give you a...

Le Bistro Automatic Food Dispenser is the best product in its class. Until now we've tried a different product which was though far from the performance of Li Bistro device. Delivered without absolutely any issues, sooner actually than the expected delivery date (which could be potentially a downside though :) the product is now functioning with swiss clock precision and durability.
