My bearded dragon panicked the first time she wore this and managed to struggle free - her legs came out very easily and it wrapped around her belly...... After calming her I decided to try one last time, and it was better (as long as she doesn't try to run too far)... But please make sure you hold your lizard NOT the leash if they start to struggle, and take it off asap so they don't hurt themselves!
Two other things I didn't like were:
1. the leash comes from the side rather than the middle of the animal's back, which means as they walk, it gets under their hind-legs.
2. the harness tightens when the animal pulls - which means if they struggle, they could hurt themselves.
I got this because I find it difficult to handle my dragon on my own due to my disability, and I hoped that it would allow me to have more control without having an assistant all the time; however, the fact that if she wants to she can wriggle out of it does not inspire much...

Good product, keeps Stanley nice and safe and very comfortable. I found the fastener was too heavy though and was dragging to one side but it was easy to swap the fastener for a lighter one off an old rain jacket.
Only suitable for a baby beardie
We returned this item as it was tiny. The description and dmensions given atre very misleading. Even the medium sized one we exchanged it for is a bit tight for a full-grwn beardie.
