Oliver had chewed his way through 4 leads by the time he was 6 months old and I purchased this one. He must realise that this is a quality product as when we go for our walks, he proudly carries the lead carefully in his mouth while attached to his collar and I hold which ever bit is free. I have been using red dingo collars for my two labs for years now, and they have coped very well with the use (and abuse!) significantly outlasting leather ones used in the past. Decided to complement the collars with matching leads which are of same quality as the collars. They look good and are well made.
I purchased a black and a brown one, and the catches are different on them in that the black one has an angled release pin which is a nice touch and allows easier use with cold hands / gloves on, it also sticks less than the older style when wet. Possibly an upgrade that is being phased in.
Handles are comfortable but not overly padded. I have machined washed them without problem.
