LOVE IT
Really good tough toy, amazing for tuggy, i have a staffie and though medium would be the right size yet it was a bit to big so for dogs like labrador ect would recommend small. he can't get the kong in his mouth to tug it but love it all the same!! Very happy :D
Lasted quite well really
Used this as a walking toy for my young lurcher, and it lasted about 6 months, which given that it had 28 kilos of dog hanging off it every day I thought was not bad going.
I don't think this item is suitable for unsupervised play by an enthusiastic chewer. If I'd left it with my dog he'd just have snipped all the fabric bits off- he did remove one of the 'tails' before I worked this out. But it is good for interactive play - tuggy and fetch.
My dog did not know how to fetch and wasn't very clear on how to play with toys as he is a rescue dog that hadn't been given toys before, but he was attracted, I think by the combination of rubbery and flappy and squeaky bits on this toy, which made it easier to get him playing with this than with various balls and frisbees.
He was scared of the squeak to begin with as it's quite loud, so I punctured it with scissors, which didn't stop it squeaking altogether but did reduce the volume a bit, and after a while...
not good for a serious chewy
i've just bought this for a 6 year old black lab who loves his toys, read some of the other reviews and thought it would be a good idea for him.
after an 1 hour 1/4 he had nearly ripped off the handle, 24 hours later the handle is nearly fully off and the squeaker is no long working.
certainly not good for a dog who is a constant chewer!
