Having previously bought one of the high pitched whistles for dog training, not only could I not hear it....the dog never appeared to either! So I decided to go for one we could all hear..plus it has a clicker..and this whistle is ideal as it can be loud or gentle....the dog seems to find it amusing...and both she and the kitten/cat are already responding to it quite well. However, the dog already comes if a treat is on offer. It is the cat I am working on mostly....to encourage her to return to me if she gets out of the house when I don't want her to. Having just read "Life of Pi"....and the tiger training details....I am hoping it will work as well on a DSH moggie! :)
