Good device, only used a couple of times, we have a large dog and small dog, they both 'charge' people when we were out for walks, but have calmed down, although they may 'charge' they now know there is a consequence.
Only rated a 3 star due to having to constantly switch it on when you need it, instead of the device staying on.
This thing works!
Looks a bit cheap but it WORKs!! Shock collar that you control the voltage of - thought it would be cruel, reluctant to use. But when you have a 35kg LAB barking in your car at a lamppost or cyclist or dog way up the road you need something extra. (As other suggestions didn't work) Its works well is car but not so well walking around as the collar itself slips round dogs neck, to under the throat and this position is less effective for shock to penetrate, due to loose skin and hair. It needs to be very tight! My dog now knows he has to behave when I put the collar on him. Other down side is that is switches off when idol so you have to fiddle with it to apply a new shock at different time. Other than that its a good product, it does what is supposed to do and the dog is much better behaved in the car!!! Need one for the kids. ;)
My dog didn't like it much
It probably would do the job but I felt that it frightened her, and made her run away and she was very hesitant to come back to me, which was the purpose of the collar. She chases the deer and goes miles away. I don't really know what to do about it, except keep her on the lead.
