THE FOOD COMPANIES DONT NEED TO USE THESE , THEY ONLY DO IT BECAUSE IT IS CHEAP ! THEY CAN USE VITAMIN E , AND ROSEMARY . BUT THEY CARE MORE ABOUT THEIR PROFITS THAN THEY DO ABOUT OUR ANIMALS . BHA & BHT IS ALSO IN SOME HUMAN FOOD - BUT FOR DOGS AND CATS THEY ARE ALLOWED TO USE 100 MORE TIMES THE AMOUNT . Hungry mini dachshund
My mini dachshund Oscar was losing his hair on his chest, before taking him to visit the vets i thought i would change his food from royal canin to a cereal free mix to see if it had any effect. On the plus side his fur is slowly growing back and hes beautifully shiny, but he seems hungry... and windy. Because this mix is very dense the portions you feed your pet are much smaller than they are used to, my little Oscar is only supposed to have 105g which is roughly half a mugful. I feed him half in the morning and the other half in the evenings but i feel bad for him as its half what he was used to.
To sum up, this food is excellent and has sorted out my pooches skin problem, but be prepared for more begging from your pet as his tummy will be pretty empty.
Good product but too expensive
