We have a small Bichon Bolognese weighing 6kg but tall and long so after looking at the measurements of a lot of soft travel carriers we decided on this on. I purchased the small size as a travel crate for a beagle. Even though it is the small size it is very 'roomy'. It is very difficult to judge the size of an item from the measurements, so I made a paper template to see which product size I needed. It may be a bit 'sad', but it helped me chose the correct size for my dog and car.
The ground anchors will be great when we go camping, and the carry bag is great for storage.
Each side has a ventilated mesh window which opens and stays up with velcro fasteners. The bottom of the carrier is made more sturdy when the covered base is added. This is 'sheepskin' lined on one side and wipeable on the other side. There is a zip, so the cover for the base can be removed for cleaning.
