Great for small dogs around the chihuahua size. If it's for a Jack Russell or bigger I would recommend the medium sized balls, as they are bit more substantial and the dog won't choke on them. I've bought both for my companies working dogs and they love them. Just make sure you don't leave them with the dogs as they will rip them apart and/or pull the squeaker out rendering it useless.
These aren't far off being table tennis ball size for reference.
