Not a success
My dog likes puzzles (like the Ottossen dog games) and I wanted to like this, but it was not a success.
First, the pictures make it look as if the cube is much more rigid than it it; it is very floppy. My dog didn't go burrowing for the balls inside, he just picked the whole thing up in his teeth and shook it, and they all fell out.
Second, because it is quite soft and made of fabric, he destroyed the cube in a day. The cube is made of fabric covered floppy foam, and the foam goes EVERYWHERE.
Not recommended.
Brilliant
My experience was totally different to the first review. This toy was bought as a gift for my first very large boxer dog, he absolutely loved it and played with it for years. As well as hiding the balls that come with the toy inside the box, all kinds of other things can be hidden in it as well, including edible treats. Because it is a soft fabric it also cleans the dogs face as they rummage, ours has been through the washed many, many times. It has now been part of the collection of toys of my second boxer dog, who is seven years old. The balls have just about had it (after 12 years!) but the fabric box is still used to hide other toys.
I suppose it depends on the type of dog you have. This toy would not have last five minutes with my sons Labradors. It is not that my dogs were/are not destructive, they can get through a tennis ball in a few minutes and tear soft toy to pieces in very little time. It is just that with this toy they are more interested with what is inside...
