This is a wonderful toy for my miniature schnauser. She loves empty plastic water bottles, but the Skinneez is even better because it adds to the bottle's entertainment with a tail and fur. The bottle can be replaced when it's completely flattened and the Skinneez can be used on it's own...but that's not such fun. Brilliant. A good quality product.
Great fun but......!
So my 14 week old puppy loved this! A toy to shake with a crinkly water bottle inside! What a combination! Unfortunately it lasted quite literally 10 minutes. No joking or exaggerating. I mean literally in the dictionary definition sense of the word, in that that this item lasted only 10 minutes and no longer. I was very surprised. He's not a very heavy chewer at all. I gave it to him to play with for a little while to get used to before I went to play fetch with him with it. When I picked it up there was already a hole in the side. He hadn't even crushed the bottle inside yet so I think the fabric must be very very weak. He was supervised the whole time and wasn't aggressive or harsh with it. This is the first toy he's ever destroyed. Even his plush puppy toys which are 6 weeks old and in constant use are still intact. Very nice idea but rather an expensive 10 minutes fun for a small pup.
