Bought this ball for Rusty, our 18 month old border collie, so he could have one at granny's house because he loves it so much.
When it arrived I was a bit disappointed as it is quite flimsy compared to the old one which he has had for about a year and in spite of him chewing on it occasionally (when he is not chasing it)it is still in perfect condition.
To be absolutely fair, it was obvious from the picture on the website that this was the case but I thought I'd try it anyway.
Rusty loves it just the same as the old one ........ so he's happy.
And ........... so far so good, only time will tell if the new one lasts as well as the old one.

My medium sized dog is super clever when it comes to getting treats out of toys and quite a powerful chewer for her size. The fact that this toy is a year old now is unusual as toys are usually destroyed within an hour. But it does already have splits and signs of rubber wear. I started by putting cookies etc inside but as the ball is pretty soft my dog just gives it one hard bash against a wall to break the cookie into small bits so they fall out the holes which are around a 10p size. The ball works better with larger soft treats that you can just about fit thru the holes. I use a apple quarter or 1/4 of a pigs ear.
