Value for money, cat proof and reliable
I spent alot of time researching automatic feeders and which ones to buy, because I have two very determined, greedy little cats, and needed a feeder for when we go away at weekends etc. I was a little put off of this one, by the fact that the picture looks like it only holds the square disposable food packs, but it doesn't, that is simply an example of one of the inserts that come with it. I wanted originally to buy the Andrew James version, the reviews looked good and it sounded robust, but as I was buying two, it was quite expensive. In my search I found this Designer Habitat one. It looked the same for a cheaper price but without the name. The only thing that put me off was the picture, but as i said, it IS exactly the same, just cheaper...bargain! much more robust than the pet mate or catmate ones i have seen in pet shops!
