Useless
I have a GSD who spends quite a lot of time in the 'original' Baskerville, so thought I would treat him to a more comfy model. Big mistake. He's an average sized shepherd, but this was a really bad fit. Looked very uncomfortable and you can see in the picture that the gaps are too big which only encourages the dog to try to get it off. He's gone back to the original muzzle that fits perfectly and he is used to.
Superb muzzle
My GSD female used to have the old basketvile muzzle, she used to go through them regularely as the plastic used to snap. She also spent so much of our walks trying to get the thing off. I bought her the new Basketville and although the fit isnt as snug, she is so much happier with it on and never tries to remove it. Its much stronger than the last style and she can beathe so much easier and its easier for her to drink and take treats yet it still gives me the piece of mine that I need.

I bought this for my Jack Russell who sometimes goes fighting. Perfect fit, softer plastic that previous model,I don't use the additional head strap but is a nice option to have if required. There is plenty of room for panting and drinking. I can also easily feed rewards for good behaviour. It allows me to let him off the lead giving him the exercise he needs plus he won't react to my anxiety down the lead which was a huge part of the problem. He has calmed down alot since using it. Would also be good for problems with scavenging. Thoroughly recommended.
