Fantastic product, fits my jack russell perfectly. Easy to use, keeps him in one place sitting nicely on the backseat of the car. He has no problem with me putting it on him so must be comfortable enough. I feel much safer having him harnessed in the car and cannot recommend this product enough, just be careful with the sizing as i bought a small as well and it was absolutely tiny. A medium is definitely required for a jack russell sized dog.
The small is VERY small
The item itself is great. I bought 2 of these in a small and a medium. I have a small jack russell and a jack russell cross who is slightly larger. The medium fits fine for their size but the small is extremely small and i would say only suitable for a very small toy dog like a toy torkie, chihuaha etc. Even a small jack russell is not small enough for this! But when it comes to ease of use etc it is a great product, keeps the dog on the back seat and not jumping around the car, seems comfortable enough dogs dont mind wearing them, so providing you get the right size this product is 5 star!
not impressed
I found this harness fiddly bulky and although I had taken note that it was small fitting the medium size barely fitted our small spaniel/daschund cross dog. Fortunately she's a patient little thing; the harness finally attached it has only a loop to go through one of the car's seat seatbelt. It never felt secure and after a few trips I did some research, threw the thing in the bin and got a Clixsafe which is only a few pounds more but easier to use and clips directly into a seatbelt fitting and is just a better product.
