This is one of these things that are difficult to review because they take time to work so I shall edit this review sometime in the future with an update.
We are owned by 3 Siamese cats and 1 Oriental cat and it is well known amongst owners of this breed that they suffer from dreadful Gingivitis which usually ends up either with annual dentals or total extraction of all of the teeth. (Just as well our cats are indoor cats). Ideally I would have liked them to have had their teeth cleaned before starting this product but putting an animal under anaesthetic is always a risk and whilst they do not have Halitosis or are in pain then there is no good reason for doing such work. Also one of my cats has heart disease and my Vet and I don't wish to put him under the strain of anaesthesia if at all possible.
Initially I had the Proden PlaqueOff for both cats and dogs but they didn't mind that in their food and it will also be more economical with 4 cats in the future to...
Do NOT buy from this seller!
It states this should be a 60g tub, but when it arrived it looked particularly small to me. I searched the packaging to see how big it was and sure enough there was a sticker conveniently placed over the 40g wording on the label so you couldn't tell how much was in there. This certainly looked like it was a deliberate attempt to cover it up, literally. The 40g pot can be bought much cheaper elsewhere online. This is just a rip off and I wont be buying from Paws and Claws Pet Shop again!!
Wish I knew about this sooner
This is one of those products you wish you found out about sooner. Our Siamese is prone to plaque and PlaqueOff appears to be working well after a few weeks of daily consumption. Our cat has no problems eating her food with the tiny measure of PlaqueOff sprinkled on it daily and the tub lasts a long time too. Our fresh breath cat approves so future purchases are planned.
