bought this after getting a rescue staffordshire bull terrier cross dog, he pulls alot on the lead, after spending lots of time in a dog pound.. I tried a chest harness, but that just seemed to make him pull more.. so I was advised to try one of these, he doesnt like it, but has realised that the more he pulls with it on, his head/nose gets pulled back, so after a while he stops, normally on the way back from a big walk / run I can take it off and he stays near my side. exercise is the key I think, I still attach it as we go out, and normally after a few miles running off lead - ( I am lucky enough to live near a massive nature walk and beach) he doesnt need it putting on again. fingers crossed, once he gets used to not pulling I can stop using it, but it is doing the trick. would recommend trying one, doesnt cost alot and it small enough to fit in my pocket if not in use. worth a try..x
