I just rescued a cat in a shocking state, so matted the vets had to knock him out for two hours to try to de-matt him. Partially successful, he is now mostly bald and was very scabby and dandruffy as expected when the matts must have been there for months. I have sprayed him once a day (not sure if you can overdose?) and brushed him, skin, remaining tufts, etc and within two days I am sure his skin looks better and what 'good' fur he has (on his head) is softer. I have also sprayed - and then only stroked - another rescue who hates being brushed and has bad fur and skin, and that went well too. Surprisingly, they do not seem to mind the spray action, slight noise, or the smell or feel of it on their fur. I think this product will prove to be excellent.
