I have spent ages and money looking for a good high viz collar for my dogs in the dark winter months. this is the best i have found so far. I have used things which clip on the collar and flash, they fall off and if you have a long coated dog you cant see them. I have had collars which fall off never to be seen again, collars which you need a degree in engineering to get the batteries out, collars which last a couple of months then give up! collars which seem to eat batteries and the hastle of gettinmg new batteries just put you off. I saw this one and a very expensive German made 1, so thought i would try this 1st ! it now 3 weeks and am pleased with it, it is a proper collar you can fit a lead to if you wish so quite robust. The best thing is it plugs into the main so you charge it the same way you would a mobile phone. Has 3 different flashes and a light sensitive setting which i must admit is good but 1 day last week went off as the morning got lighter but i still felt that it was...

This was a very good product / idea initially. I was really happy with it in the first instance and sung it's praises to other dog walkers. However, after only 2 months light use with a small dog it only worked intermittently and then packed up completely. I assumed this was a 'loose connection' problem and returned it. I did request a replacement if this was not a common problem, but was told that a few collars had been returned with 'similar' faults and a full refund was received. So I have now purchased a different product and are waiting for this to arrive to try. Such a shame as it was such a great product initially. If the manufacturers can sort out their quality issues this would be a 1st class product. So disappointing.
