we have a german shepherd pup and we started training with puppy pads and we think they are excellent, our pup is now 10 weeks old and he (most of the time) lets us know when he wants to go toilet, sometimes he has slip up with a wee in the house but most of the time hes fine, puppy pads are better than news paper and they soak up the wee, but remember to give a reward and praise to your puppy for using the pad and he will soon learn that a wee on the pad means he gets goodies. our pup now goes in the garden, hes not fully house trained but the pads have given him a head start.
