Ordered these for my toy poodles who have paws that irritate them especially when on sandy beaches or out in wet weather. X small fit perfectly and my pets were not put off in the slightest. What a difference
We bought the shoes for our miniature dachsy who has nerve damage in her back legs and can no longer lift her back feet properly when walking. She scrapes the tops of her toes as she moves her feet forward. We looked for boots that could protect her feet from bleeding when we walk on pavements, but but most of them were either too long for her short legs and slipped off, or were too cumbersome and stopped her from walking. The Pawz boots are perfect for her - with them on her back feet we can now have extra walks which involve pavements. Although she still scuffs her feet, her toes are protected and don't bleed. The shoes are like very strong rubber ballons, a bit difficult to get on, but once on she doesn't seem to notice them. They can be used over and over, but don't wash them as they'll shrivel up.

Our labrador has had a burst disc in his neck so he isn't able to wear a collar anymore - wanted something that was going to be comfortable for him to wear - most of the harnesses I found looked like they would cut into him - but the padding on this one is great and very easy to take on and off.

The distance between the neck band and the chest strap is not much longer then the smaller size. As a consequence the chest strap fits close to the front legs - I would have preferred it fitted more around the chest.

What can I say? I bought it without measuring and so my puppy's head was too big... in hindsight I think a harness without being adjustable around the neck/head is a flaw hence the 3 stars but it is very pretty:-)

I love dogs and being in a wheelchair makes it very difficult to pick things up off the floor. This is a really good little product. I believe that the scoop grasp should be a bit bigger and a folding handle would make the product easier to carry around on long walks.
Great for small dogs or medium as the grasper is fairly small. I do like the extra bands so you can put several bags on at once.
Item ideal if you have a medium or small dog and have any difficulty reaching down or you are fit and healthy and just want to save your back!

Question is, when my girlfriend returns, do I give her the scoop, or keep it for when the dog visits again.

Great idea but not very strong (two broke!)
Bought this as I want to start canix with my dog but the proper stuff is expensive, it was great for that and I use it every day to go jogging, easy to put on etc. Would mention that not so good if your on roads alot as it is all bungee down to the dog apart from a small handle, as my dog is small the only way I can hold this is to bend down. This means I dont feel I have total control to keep him tight on busy roads but otherwise a great product and highly recommended.

Have had to edit this review as unfortunatly the first one broke (the bungee inside snapped) after only a couple of weeks, my dog is very small (less than 12kg) so I was quite suprised that it broke so easily, they were very good about it when I emailed though and sent me a sencond lead almost imeditly, unfortunalty this one only lasted 2 days and also broke, I have kept it and the ability to clip it to you is still very usefull if you need to use your hands but its not worth much without the bungee...

So So Disappointed
I recently purchased one of these Shock Absorber Hands Free Dog Leads I have used it once and already it has lost all of it's "bungee" and is therefore completely useless. I appreciate that it wasn't very expensive but it just didn't work as I thought it should (I would have liked to use it more than once for a start)and the dog that I took out on it on the only occassion it has been used weighs less than 20kg a very small Border Collie - I have contacted the seller to tell them also how disappointed that I am but as yet have not even had a reply. In short I really wouldn't bother it was a complete waste of time and money!

One got dragged out to sea, one was left behind in a field, and one simply disappeared. We are now on our 4th Jump n Jack and it is the absolute favourite toy of my 5 year old Dalmatian. She loves it and when we have lost them in the past, she moooches around until a new one arrives. Nothing else will do. My older dog keeps well clear as he knows he is in big trouble if he touches the Jump n Jack. Our new puppy has no such scruples and the tug-o-war games are a sight to behold. Small enough to fit in your pocket and sturdy enough for two large dogs to wrestle with, the Jump n Jack is a great toy. I can hurl it great distances outside and the unpredictability of its bounce (and my throwing technique) keep the dogs on their toes.

Great idea but could be more durable
Bought this for our OES/Border Collie cross who is 8 months old. Whilst waiting for the Kong paste to arrive, we let him play with the toy which he loved. Erratic bouncing meant that he was chasing it all day, but left with it too long he was able to chew the corners off. At that point, I would have givent he product 3 stars.
We now have the paste and he loves the toy even more, and is no longer chewing pieces off. He stills chews it but it is more to get to the paste.

It's a very durable toy and sure he will continue to use it with and without the paste, so I give it four stars

Powerful chewers
Bought these for my Clumber Spaniels. Dog just bit the end off where I had put Kong Paste so if your dog is a powerful biter beware. Thought they would be more rugged than it was.

Sturdy and very comfortable for our puppy
This product looks great on our Vizsla puppy bitch. It's easy to fit, sturdy, stretches well, is comfortable and allows a lot of control when attached to a standard dog lead.

We bought it in medium and this size will probably fit her for at least another 8 weeks of growth. By then she will be almost 6 months old and able to fit her adult collar.

The harness has attracted favourable comments from all admirers including the lady in charge of puppy classes. Highly recommended.

"Everlasting" is a slight exaggeration
Although this went down a storm with my Border Collie, even when in the Treat Ball, it lasted about 30 minutes tops.

The product is sound, and works well, but unfortunately only gets 3 stars, as the amount of time this keeps him entertained for the price of each refill is just not cost effective.
I feel I'd have got better from buying as many dried pigs ears as the same cost allows.

They love them
Dogs love them... did not last long but there again nothing last long with Bull Terriers !!!!

Its Rubbish!! So is the service
I received this product but as the weather was so cold did not need to use it straight away. When we did we found it to be totally useless. It would not cut more than four our five hairs at a time. By the time the dog had been cut it would have been time to start again!

There is a helpline number only - no email address. All you get is an answer machine with a message saying they are open 10.00 am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday which is either engaged or the answer machine kicks in even in the above times. I am at work all day so it is hard to keep ringing but everytime I do I can't get through.

I would not recommend this product or this company to anyone.

Poor quality and very poor performance
I tried using these for nearly a year and they were awful. They kept snagging, cut very poorly and I had to keep taking them apart to remove hair snagged between the blades. I tried oiling them, spraying them with WD40 but nothing helped. In the end I gave up in frustration and threw them away. As my dog only needs a trim 3 times a year I kept forgetting just how rubbish they were until the next time I came to use them. Having spent the money I really wanted them to work but it was a totally frustrating experience. They're noisy, poor quality and very ineffective. I suggest looking for alternatives.
